New Difficulty Selection At The Start Of The Game!




Player skill and player preference varies widely.

Originally, I had wanted to make the game have a rather high difficulty to help create tense moments that lead to "clutch" victories. This is also why I decided to go with save points that can only be activated once to help raise the stakes of dying.

However, I understand that this difficulty may be more of a brick wall for player interest. So I am happy to announce that at the start of the game, you will now be asked if you would like to play with reduced difficulty!
It may be a bit premature to push out this patch as I didn't test the full game to check for difficulty balance with the new reduced difficulty mode, but hopefully it's a bit lighter. When I have time this weekend, I'll do a full play through with the new difficulty option to check the balance. If things seem off, then I'll make another update.
