PSYCHE: The House of Mind is an absurdist look into the mind of a man, told through poetic form.
GAME:
There are 10 phantom scenarios to encounter; 9 main scenarios and finally the greatest fear of all.
Play through each phantom's haunt, then decide the least-worst option to handle the fear that lurks in the mind.
ABOUT:
Submitted as part of the RPG Maker Web "Spooky Month Jam" (2024).
To earn a single ending will likely take less than 5 minutes.
A complete run of all 10 scenarios will require at least 3 play-throughs and may take 15 - 20 minutes to complete.

The sound and visual design are really pleasing, you really did a lot with a little. Was Slay the Princess an inspiration?
Thanks! I'm glad, despite how dense the writing and content of the game can be, someone was able to enjoy it.
I actually hadn't heard of Slay the Princess until you mentioned it! The concept itself is pretty simple; scenario, choice, scenario, choice, so I can't say any one specific game influenced this. It just seemed the best way to tell my dumb little poems about myself.
Oh gotcha! I did find that understanding some of the poems took some thinking, but the sound and visuals made it really fun. I think the presentation is just unsettling enough to inspire a certain curiosity, which helps me appreciate the challenging language.
